Kami was born in Oct 2019. The day he was born, it was definitely one of the best days of my life. Nothing could ever compare to the joy I felt as a parent. The moment I heard his cry, I was simply joyful and grateful. Since the day we (me and my wife) found out that my wife was pregnant, we started “worrying” in a way that we want to make sure the pregnancy was going well and that the baby that came out would be healthy and whole. As my mom always said, “not less, not more but just perfect”. What she meant was physically and mentally, the baby would be healthy with the correct number of arms, fingers, legs and that mentally, he was sound and normal.

The day came and we were so so so grateful that Kami was born healthy and whole. The name Kami means “us” in Indonesian. It also a combination of both of our names Cika (my wife’s nickname) and Tommy. The “my” in Tommy is read “mi” > Ka-Mi.

Kami loves Lego, Minecraft and Dragon Ball. I can’t tell you how many Lego, Minecraft and Dragon Ball characters we have at home. Kami also loves pickleball and swimming. In his spare time, me and him love playing Minecraft game. I truly believe that playing Minecraft is healthy because it trains our creativity. I love building houses and different structures within Minecraft. More on these later.

I love my son, and nothing can ever separate my love with him.
